National Colleges of Education Online Application Faces Outage
Students aiming for admission to Sri Lanka’s National Colleges of Education (NCOE) are facing hurdles as the online application portal on the Ministry of Education’s website has been inaccessible for few days, with a complete outage today, March 30th, 2024.
Many Applicants, prepared to submit their applications, have expressed concern through various channels due to the ongoing downtime. While the cause remains unclear, technical experts suspect a familiar – server congestion at the Ministry. They anticipate the situation might improve during off-peak hours or within the next few days.
The application window, as per the Ministry’s announcement, opened on March 15th, 2024, and closes on April 5th, 2024. This unexpected outage creates anxiety for students hoping to secure their place in the upcoming academic year.
