University of Colombo School of Computing Offers Short Term Training Programme in Advanced Multimedia Web Design & Development Techniques

The University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) is offering a short term training programme in Advanced Multimedia Web Design & Development Techniques.

The programme is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of multimedia web design and development. In this program, students will delve into various facets of web design and development. They will acquire skills in graphics design for web applications, explore web engineering technologies, and learn about web accessibility and validation techniques.

The programme will cover the following topics:

• HTML4 & HTML5 with advanced browser techniques
• Using PHP, MySQL & Apache
• Web Engineering Technologies
• Dynamic web page development using CSS and JavaScripts
• Future of Web Application
• Web Accessibility Techniques
• Adobe Dreamweaver for quick Web Authoring
• Sinhala and Tamil Unicode Fonts for Sinhala and Tamil Web Sites
• Web Content Management System

The programme will commence on June 2nd, 2024 and will run for 8 Sundays (8.30AM – 5.30PM). The investment for the programme is Rs. 35,000.
