The NIE is a public educational institution that is responsible for providing quality education to millions of students across Sri Lanka. The institute offers a variety of programs, including teacher training, curriculum development, and educational research.

The Director (English Language) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the English language program at the NIE. This includes developing and implementing curriculum, supervising teachers, and conducting research.

The Director (Printing & Publications) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the NIE’s printing and publications operations. This includes managing the printing press, editing and publishing educational materials, and marketing the institute’s publications.
