Appointment ceremony for National Teaching Diploma holders

The Ministry of Education will hold an appointment ceremony for National Teaching Diploma holders on March 27, 2024. The ceremony is for the “repeat batch” of students who graduated from the National Institutes of Education in the academic years 2018-2020.

The ceremony will be held at 9:00 am at the Kannangara Auditorium of the National Institute of Education in Maharagama. All diploma holders who are due to receive appointments are required to report to the registration desk at the main building of the National Institute of Education by 7:00 am on that day.

Male diploma holders are required to wear a black suit, white shirt and tie, while female diploma holders are required to wear a white saree or skirt. At the time of registration, diploma holders will be given a number that they must wear on the upper left side of their clothing. They will be required to sit in the seat in the ceremony hall that corresponds to their number. Diploma holders are also required to remain in the hall until the conclusion of the ceremony.
