National Institute of Language Education and Training Seeks Part-Time English Instructors

The National Institute of Language Education and Training (NILET), under the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government, has announced openings for part-time Instructors in English. This initiative invites applications from graduates and higher diploma holders currently active in the teaching service or higher education institutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Educational BackgroundApplicants must possess a special degree in English from a recognized university, have studied English as a main subject in a general degree program, or have completed a higher diploma course in English from an accredited institution.
2. Experience: A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required.
3. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in a second language (Tamil or Sinhala) is considered an additional qualification.
