GCE O/L 2023 Result Release Date Update
In an announcement made yesterday (23), Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara revealed that the results of the GCE Ordinary Level Exam 2023 (2024) will be released within the next 10 days. Speaking to DailyNews, Jayasundara emphasized that every effort is being made to release the results within this week. However, if that goal is not met, he assured that the results would be available within ten days.
This swift turnaround time, less than one and a half months after the exams concluded, is being hailed as a significant achievement for the educational system. The exams were conducted from May 6 to May 15.
A total of 452,979 candidates sat for the exam this year, comprising 387,648 school applicants and 65,331 private applicants. This prompt release of results is expected to facilitate the next steps in the academic and professional journeys of these students.
