Cabinet Approval for National Teacher Council
The National Education Policy Framework has proposed the establishment of a National Teacher Council in line with other professional service categories and international best practices to enhance the professionalism and quality of teachers through continuous professional development.
Accordingly, the Cabinet has approved the joint proposal submitted by the President and the Minister of Education to advise a draftsman to prepare a bill for the establishment of a National Teachers Council based on the preliminary draft prepared after lengthy discussions with the relevant stakeholders in the field of education.
