Amendment Application for EB Examination – DO Service

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 – 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

The Public Administration Circular No. 14.2.1, published in the Gazette of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka No. 2,380 dated April 10, 2024, has been revised to clarify the eligibility criteria for the Second Efficiency Bar Examination for Development Officers Service.

The revision states that officers in Grade III of the Development Officers Service belonging to the Combined Service who have been confirmed in service, having completed the first efficiency bar examination, and have completed active and satisfactory service of ten years but have not yet been promoted to Grade II due to administrative matters can also sit for the Second Efficiency Bar Examination.

The deadline for submitting applications for the examination will not be extended due to this revision. Those who have already applied for this examination are notified to refrain from submitting applications again.
