Open University of Sri Lanka Launches 2024/2025 Diploma in Food Science Program
The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced its Diploma in Food Science program for the 2024/2025 academic year. The program is designed for individuals seeking to advance their knowledge and careers in the rapidly growing field of food science.
Admission Requirements
Prospective students must meet one of the following criteria:
- G.C.E (A/L) in Science: Applicants should have completed the G.C.E (A/L) in the Science stream with Chemistry as a subject or the Technology stream with Biosystems Technology.
- Foundation Level Courses: Completion of three subjects, including Chemistry, equivalent to 60 credits at the Foundation Level courses (ACS) offered by OUSL.
- NVQ Level 5 Qualification: Successful completion of an NVQ Level 5 qualification and a minimum of three years of experience in the food or food-related industry.
- Equivalent Qualifications: Any other qualification deemed equivalent or higher, acceptable to the Senate of the OUSL.
