Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance 2024/2025

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) is now offering a Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance (DIBF) course. The course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the Islamic banking and finance industry, as well as the basics of Islamic banking and finance.
The course will be conducted in a bilingual (English & Tamil) mode, which means that students will be able to learn in a variety of languages.
Who Can Apply
The program is open to school leavers, job seekers, bankers, bank employees, Takaful practitioners, and other institutional employees.
How to Apply
The minimum qualifications for entry to the Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance are as follows:
- At least three passes in all three approved subjects (from any stream) in General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) and an ‘S’ pass in English in G.C.E. (O/L)
- A foundation course equivalent to SLQF level-2 or Completion of NVQ level 4 and ‘S’ pass in English in G.C.E. (O/L)
- Completion of G.C.E O/L with ‘S’ pass in English or SLQF level-1 or NVQ level 3 with an accredited minimum of one year of working experience in the banking industry.
The application fee is 500 Sri Lankan rupees (LKR). The course fee is LKR 60,000, and there is also a registration fee of LKR 2,000 and a placement test fee of LKR 500.
The closing date for applications is May 5, 2024.
